MHZ Lizard Extreme MGM LMT Build

Hi All complete know nothing guy here. Thank you please comment and tell me what you think

    Boat: MHZ Lizard Extreme (Kevlar?)
    Motor: LMT 1940/7
    ESC: MGM 28026-3
    Battery: TP 70c 6s 4400
    Servo: Need Help
    Collet : MBP
Prop: They gave me 39mm but it only makes a fine mist like smoke and does not go very fast??/ HELP

So Today I removed SSS 4082/2200 to install LMT 1940/7. However I did not order correct size motor. It is too short and too small in diameter to fit into rear support bracket.

Have I made too big an error? If so can I sell this stuff? HELP Thank you All

Ps if It can work What settings on the ESC

You will not need the rear support bracket for the 1940.

As for the prop, I would start with an Octura x442.

Servo: How much height is there between the mounting plate and the stuffing tube? I suspect you are going to have to use a half height servo.

Best to ask MGM on the settings.

The Lehner site will give you an idea on timing for you, it is higher than typical motors. Being a 3 connection motor, it is a "D" wind, for Lehner I believe they recommended 10 or 15 degree.

LMT timing is 15 degrees, I would have used a 2240 or 2250 LMT for that hull, and even better as an 8s setup so something in the 1200-1300kv range. The 1940/7 is 2239kv under load so on 6s it's already some high RPM. There is a good chance you may be restricted to a very small prop if you run 6s. The MGM controller would have been a little more flexible if you got the 25035. Not saying what you're doing is wrong, but you have eliminated some options by using that setup.

I missed that you were running 6s. To much prop for kind of rpm, go smaller. That is a 4s motor.

the 2250/8 is 1480kv do you plan to run on 6s or 8s? if 8s that's still some serious RPM but if 6s then its a good sport setup maybe in the 70's or so (with the right prop) if you run on 6s then no need for the ESC upgrade
