I Did a little on mine just figured out how to use epoxy over Styrofoam to harden the hatch form. and added some extra clearance for battery placement, Now I can get a regular 3 cell lipo in it.

Well my son has had his hydromite at my house for at least a year waiting for paint now that is slow un less you got that beat!

Hey Avanti, if you could snap me some more picks and maybe sketch out your idea for the cooling ducts, I would appreciate it as I am not quite following you on your intentions there.

the cooling ducts will simply bring fresh cool air into the motor compartment and let the hot air out.
hopefully I will get back at this soon. I have just not had any motivation to do it. I have been riding the motorcycle lately.

I get that, but you said it would be isolated to keep water out? I don't see how you plan on doing that.

the motor compartment will be sealed from the rest of the hull via hatches and silicone

Ah, ok, so if you flip you expect the compartment to flood?

yes it can take on water, but the motors can take water unlike the esc and rx

no, but I did get the second coupler I needed. now all I need for parts is a rudder. I just have no desire to mess with it right now. I have not messed with the boats in a few months. I am going to our meet (Land-O-Lakes, FL) this month though (I've not been to the past few).
