    Nice.
Taylor do you think the Plexi mounts will hold up to the heat of the motors?

They should hold up to the heat. Acrylic will start mishaping at about 180 200 degrees. I would worry more about cracking. Acrylic is Vac u formed at about 275 degrees... If it gets that hot dont worry about the mounts lol... Taylor do a pretest of some scraps if you have any. test the epoxy and add some heat to it say about 180 degrees in the oven. If you see crazing (lil cracks ) in the plastic I wouldnt use it. Crazing frequently happens with acrylic after it has been glued/epoxied... and more so if it is heated.

quote-your words, Have you thought about putting the packs in the sponsons i know from experience that the boat will have a high cg especially with a twin setup. might want to chew on that idea! lol

          thanks for my advice
this is my 8th cat boat i have built and setup.
this is actually the second hull i have gone through and set up this boat one time before.
C of G is not a issue with this hull it is much wider then a matinimo and can hold its tun better.
you might want to keep you snarky and most definitely unwanted comments to your self and out of my threads until you get some further building, racing and setup experience.
Ray. this was cut with a 100 watt lazer at 100 watts! LOL. the curf line is only.0003 of a inch with that being said the melting of the acrylic is very hi as David said.
i have done full carbon fiber jobs with the lazer and could of done but but i likes this stuff better. sometimes carbon fiber is a tad overrated. i mean ifyou crash your boat let it blow into a million pieces. its better to see explode and enjoy it !!!
i have used this before with hi temp setups. I made a whole stringer and frame setup for my 34 inch M1 supercat about 3 years ago with it and it held up and looked beautiful.

You race? I bet if you did you could set some records eh? What hull is it? I dont see why Bonewars remarks were Snyed and unwanted if you post a public thread. He just stated what you had previously on your last buld I mean HIS last build. One last question if your using hydra's why not go with Neu motors. Honestly. do the Feigao;s perform just as well in twin setups like that?

Mich. well when i first posted that in his thread he came back at me with even more so rude comment. There is no "user blocking" feature on this site so i would rather some one with a mouth to shoot not do it in my thread.

and lastly about the Neu. This is a twin setup and because in no IMPBA or NAMBA classes can you run twins other then open class hydro for this boat . it will never race and just be a fun boat to throw around the lake. If i was going to use this for open hydro then it would be just way to small and slow.
with open hydro you can run basically anything as long as its not over 10S power ( insurance reasons) so you will have some 8 mph heat racing rigger in the same class as you.
i am actually thinking of making this a cheaper project. and am experimenting with 50 amp esc's with these motors. to see how it will preform, just got the hell ofit.

So for that reason. its just a toy.

I too think it is about time this was said.
EK can hand it out and serve it up but appears less than happy when it all comes back.
