    Strut screws

Hi guys so i have porred rpoxy in the transom of my cf daytona and i am in need of longer screws. I went to my local ace to see if they had any but i didnt wuite know what size i should get. Does anyone know the screw size i should use? I have been told i will need to go with a wider screw and longer. Thanks!!!!!

Stock is 3mm. you can go up to 6-32 which are easier to come by but, you might need to make the holes in the aluminum and hull larger.

I always use a drill bit the next size smaller for the hull so you can sort of, in a way tap the fiberglass to the thread using the bolt before you install the hardware. This helps keep water out of your hull.
