    Aquacraft Topspeed 2

I have just bought one of these with no running gear. I intend to to convert it to an inboard motor has any one done this. Obviously I'll change the radio box and extend it to house the motor and battery. Haven't played with brushless motors before. I am in the process of getting a 1900kv motor and 120amp speedo coupled with 4s 5000mah 30c batteries and a x640 prop that's been detoungued, sharpened, balanced and polished.
I used to race 1/10th scale cars many years ago and I realise technology has moved on a bit so any help much appreciated.
I will be changing the colour scheme as well. Can't stand yellow

I would love to put an outboard on it but they don't come up very often in the uk. I already have the flexi shaft assembly. So its cheaper for me to make it inboard. I also have a Graupner Systems cat on its way to have a play withIMAG1240.jpg

Would something like this interest you? Just googled for Outboard legs and this came up

There are fuel power legs too for half the price that you could convert.

That looks amazing. I already have the strut and rudder from previous models. With money being tight at the moment I might do the cat with the gear I've got and wait to get the outboard leg. I'll rub down and paint the tunnel hull ready for the leg. Or make them both inboard and swap the hardware over as the mood takes me.

Well after receiving my two hulls a couple of weeks ago. I have discovered they were both in pretty poor shape. The top speed 2 has suffered a front end hit in its past life which had split the hull. I have epoxied the splits and filled them. This has taken up most of my time but I think it's getting there. I'll put up some pictures when I get time
