                Hi Guys

here some updates of the HPR 233 Torqstar.

After several test runs i decide to change the escs.
With the mgm's i had the problem that they only can run 19000 rpm with the Lehner Torqstar.
At 19000 rpm they cut off.
I made several tests with 14s and 12s lipos.Max was only 19000 rpm.
But i want to get more rpms because i don't want to drive bigger Props as 80mm and want reduce the torque on the Flexdrives and on the clutch.

The new escs are two brand new Schulze 40334
I hope that they will better work with the Torqstars.
I installed 2 plates left and right in the boat where the escs are fixed with screws.
The Motors got new cabels and new Motor couplers(the normal couplers are not strong enough)

                new tests are outstanding

                here some pictures

                regards
                mudl

That's very wired, I think the MGM will support 250k rpm on 2 poles so the motors would have to be around 22 poles to reach a max of 20k? Any settings on the controller that may have been overlooked? Either way, very cool build!!

                  Are those brass/steel LMT couplers?.

                    Hi
i test several settings on the esc.Nothing helps.
The couplers are made by lehner

                      Hello Mudl,
I know this is an old thread, but what settings did you run with the MGM for the Torqstar motor?
