Pulled the first boat from the molds, everything looks great. It came out at 6 pounds.

That's pretty light for a 46.5" boat, looks like you're going to gas power it from the cutouts on the cowl. But it looks like it would be fairly easy to tape for FE, or put a sub hatch in it VERY NICE!!.

Yes this boat will be gas powered . I should add that I installed carbon fiber overlay in the wings for plenty of support.

New Chief Canard

Made some changes to the Canard.
First test it didn't come up on plane. So I re-designed the sponsons.
Second test it came up on plane but nose dived in a turn. I re-designed the nose and more work on the sponsons.
Ready for the third test.

Try laying the rudder back on a slight angle, it will then lift the nose in a turn, its an old solution when trimming tunnel hulls for racing.
