Eventually we all will scale things back as we get older so I don't blame you one bit Randy for thinning things right out. After your health issues I was very suprised that you kept going at all but, maybe staying on the bike helped you with that stuff. Looking at your latest plastic hydro pull it's like a great parting shot. The detail that wen into that design is just awesome really. There are few P-Sports that look like this on the top or bottom, it's awork of art. I only wish you had someone to pass the torch to so BBY keeps on going for a long time but, if there was that option you would have iton the go.
This is what saddens me most. Like many great inventors and, creators of things that have that USA quality there are no siblings or whomever to pass things on to. This is where quality starts to fade in the west and the influx of mostly so-so boats from Asian areas come dribbling in. You'll notice Hughey shafts are becoming extinct slowly too.
Just do what you can and keep at it as long as it's doing well by you.
Stay happy & healthy. God bless you and have a great Christmas 'DUDE' !

My son may get in to it later in his life but I think he loves 1 to 1 cars more. If I had had more children it may had more chances to live. Possibly after I am gone he will see the value in continuing the art. I my self care more for the whole circle Designing, creating, testing and racing, Plus the interaction with people. In short the full circle of the activity. Thanks every one for your kind words, I really enjoy them.

I built this when I was 19 years old and need to get the truck before it is destroyed in Oregon by rust.

How bout BBY eliminator. It will eliminate the competition. :)

Sorry to hear your backing out...but I don't blame you. Gets tiresome not being able to do for yourself. Then you someone times get the occasional nagger that stays on you about finishing their boat....not taking into consideration you have other things in life to do besides just their boat. Have fun!

That's what I'm taking about!!! Love the Mustang, but I especially love the Bronco!!!

I hope I was never one of those 'naggers'!! I'm fairly patient!!!

Randy, I remember when I met you in Seattle in the mid-90s at the APBA Nats, you were running the DuckHunter boat among others, you were very friendly and encouraging. You helped me enter the world of National racing, thanks Randy! I have missed seeing you at the last several SAW races in LA. Good luck in the next phase of your life...
