I found this, wonder if this would work, along with a female one for the escs.

Tower Hobbies carries an expansive collection of RC cars, RC airplanes, RC boats, model trains, sot cars, and supplies for all hobbyists.

for some reason I did not get e-mail updates for these last bunch of posts. Thank for the message Peter.
Asa your cat is shaping up nicely the rudder stand off looks great.

my boat is still static, I have been on bed rest after a motorcycle accident 2-28-09. My knee is the only thing that was damaged and it is healing nicely. I am up and about now, but still have 5 weeks of recovery before the wound is healed completely according to doctors.
The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

Avanti, sorry to hear about the accident, hope you and your knee feel better soon! Sounds like you may have free time on your hands, are you planning on doing hobby stuff during recovery?

              John,
Don't stop riding bikes! get right back on the horse that threw you!! I have a Kawasaki 900 ninja which has been taking my boat building time and energy, I got it used, and am catching up on all the neglected maintenance (what fun). any way sorry to hear you had a little scrape and I am glad only your knee was hurt (did your Knee save the bike?) and that it is coming along well, so now that you are up and around you should work on your boat since you still have 5 weeks of recovery left (I would be getting cabin fever)

The other discussion is titled "Twin Drive Cats" They have some interesting stuff there Take a look at Bonewar's boat he does a very clean job, and there are three types of connectors besides the one I made (which I need to finish)

                  I'll never stop riding.
I'm not sure when I'll get back to building the boat. I have not been into it at all lately. I have been thinking about getting my RC10 back together though.

I have also been not into it lately, but I wanted to get it mostly finished before I leave. I was hoping that some progress on mine, would spark the interest to finish yours lol just kiddin.

I have a rc10t4 sitting around collecting dust, I'm not sure why I bought it when I really want a 4wd 10th scale.

Well, this is coming to a screaching hault. Don't look like its going to hit the water because my wife put in our change of address to the place she will be staying while i'm away for training, and it wasn't suppose to change our address for another week and a half, so the USPS messed up on the time it was suppose to take effect, so the stuff I was expecting in the mail is being shipped to the other address. Looks like all I can do now, is get the hull ready for paint and leave it with dad while i'm at training for him to paint, then I won't see it for like 6 months till i'm back from training. But I will update as long as I can.

Well, it seems like every time that I complain about not getting my parts for some reason or another, they show up, so maybe I should complain more often lol

Well anyways, I got the struts, I will post pics later. I did do some sealing on the wood this weekend, so pics will follow.

I'm thinking I will order the rest of the stuff I need, and have it shipped to my dads house, then maybe next weekend it will see some water, maybe!!!!

Ok, here are the pics as promised.

We (me and my dad) have coated most of the hull in epoxy, then after all the complaining about not getting my struts from hong kong they showed up, in the pics they are just sitting there, they are not bolted. I also went to the hobby store yesterday and bought some z-poxy, I had heard some great things about it, so I bought it.

Tonight I have coated the rest of the hull in epoxy, and did some sanding on the fully cured portions of the hull in preperation for a second coat of epoxy. Next I will lay some fiberglass down inside the center section on the inside of the boat to stiffen it up and make a servo mount. I also will need to machine some octura strut bearings down to fit these odd sized struts, and of corse lots and lots of sanding.

I will not work on it till tomorrow, I want to let the epoxy that I applied tonight fully harden.
