45" Carbon Fiber Mystic Catamaran twin build project - (JPriami)

I got the hull to my next project earlier this week. Its a 45 inch Carbon Fiber Mystic from KBB & Radtek. Very beautiful hull. This is going to be a twin drive. I do love twins .It will be a slow build. As I dont have a basement to my disposal like I did at the place we were renting. But we do own our own home now so I'll have to make me a place for doing my RC projects. Plus with the cost thats going to be involved in this project and now being a family with two kids. I will have to save up for the things I want for this one. It will take a little longer but it will all be worth it. I have about 85% of the paint scheme/theme thought out already. I have an artist that's going to work with me on a few of the custom one off graphics that will only be unique to this boat. It will be another one of a kind.

Looking forward to seeing the end product if it's anything like that yellow/black cat. Very clean looking.

Thank you. Yes it will be very clean looking like my other boat there. I've got a knack for that.

Yes, I'm going to use some of the hardware off the corvette c6r hull and build a carbon fiber 32 of that hull. But it will be later. Christmas is coming up so I need to prepare for that. Sometime in early 2015 I plan to get a hull for that project.

Sweet. Gathering components for my own KBB 45" build as well. What do you intend to put in her for power? Are you going to use the KBB drives?

Yes I'm leaning toward the kbb drives for 45" cat Keith is selling. I'm looking around at some others as well. As for the motors I'm thinking I might buy a pair of Lehners. Again still looking for alternatives. Since this is going to be a slow build I'm taking my time & trying to research.

Very nice boat, I'm jealous! I want one to! No doubt you'll do a fine job. I just recently read your corvette build post and really liked it, great job.

Thanks for the compliments ls1fst98 & fella1340. And ls1fst98 I'm guessing you have had a ls1 car at some point? The TA makes my 3rd ls1 car.
