I now see what you mean about the prop in line with the bottom of the hull – I tried to keep the prop shaft as straight as I possibly could this meant mounting the prop at an angle. I know it’s a flexi shaft but I did not want to bend the tube.
Ok I will have a look tonight to see what is possible.
Can you melt the resin with a hair dryer sufficient to remove the shaft? Would this melt the hull? Or would it be best to bend the tube, or dremel the pipe free? How much bend would I get away with – my last boat had solid shafts not flexi’s.
