    Sorry buddy.
But if you do find anything. I'm sure Graham would love to hear from you. You can contact him on his facebook page anytime.

Here's the latest on the boat.
It's in winter storage over in the states at the moment.
Graham is back in Australia building a new engine to take over to the States & race the vintage circuits again next year.
The boat's not sold yet but there are a couple of interested parties.
One guy wants it but can't fit it in his "shed" because of the other dozen or so boats that he has collected. But they are going to build a bigger shed soon.
Oh well, no big deal. Thanks to everyone who tried. I may just paint it red and not worry about graphics yet, just in case something pops up. I don't know how we survived back then, without phone cameras etc. Imagine if that was today, there would be 3000 photos posted to the web in a matter of milliseconds!!!
Funny thing is, I was at Bunnings yesterday and saw their epoxy enamel paints. I decided to buy 1 can just to try, and without thinking, I bought gloss black!!! Was that a sign???? Maybe my little Lauterbach doesn't want to be red?????

Yeah!. My heart bleeds for people like that.
But seriously, I have a huge respect for people that have the money to collect history like that. It's that sort of passion that keeps these things going.
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

Well, it hasn't been a great success with subsequent outings for this boat.
I damaged the flex in one of the runs so decided I'd replace the flex and solder the new one to the prop shaft (I didn't have any Loctite). Next outing I got to the first turn and you guessed it, the prop shaft and flex separated; prop shaft, tapered nut, drive dog and prop sitting somewhere on the bottom of the lake!!! This was my first attempt at soldering the flex, and it looked and felt pretty good, and, I have never lost a glued one before so I'm pretty annoyed with myself. Now I have to wait for replacements on the way from OSE, so might get some building done...

Do you think my newly contracted driver is up to the task?? Just wish he'd ride in the boat, not on it!!!!
