    KOS build

This is my first build. King Of Shaves.

    Motors; Leopard 2860 2550kv 4D
    ESC 120 Seaking
    .062 Wire Drive
    440 CNC props
    OSE Rudder
SPC 4s 5000 Lipos I removed the hard case and shrink raped them. Thanks KFX for showing me how to do that.

My first run was with the 2550 leopards, 120 esc stock 36mm props, and 3s 5000mah 50c. my best run was 35.7mph.

I then run the KOS with the SPC 4s my speed jumped to 47.3 mph. temps = motors 96, esc 101, bats 85, connectors 106.venom batts 009.jpg

    Then I put the 440 props and run 55.7 mph temps= motors 98, esc 106, bat 88, connectors 111. venom batts 012.jpg

Next I did some work on the cnc props and she run 58.7 miles temps did not change. venom batts 005.jpg

New speed record for my KOS. lol 62.6mph she runs all day with new Leopards 2860 2730kv. very reliable and cool temps. motors 92, batts 89, esc 97, connectors 110, I only get two or thee drops off water in her. at 62mph there is so much water pressure going though the hoses that the hose came of the connector at exterior of the transom, all fixed now. next thing to do is get some nice 42mm propellers.controler 004.jpgcontroler 004.jpg

Good job! I've found that a good prather or octura prop is a little faster than the cnc props.

BTW, those lipos are good quality, and a steal at 60 bucks each. Nice choice.

spc batteries are a really good value. those were by far my favorite for a while.
