Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to share one of my builds. This is my first time posting a build on the forums, and I wanted to use this opportunity to say my thanks to the community and everyone I've ever PM'ed for help and questions. And, most importantly, I wanted to thank Manuel for his help throughout my rc boating experience. His patience knows no bounds, such a humble and modest guy with tons of knowledge. I appreciate his time and effort to answer all my questions and some day I hope to return the favor somehow.
Here is my build, plain and simple... This cat started its life as a fiberglass hull, 650mm in length. I stripped it down, did a hull and hatch inlay with 12k cf, plus 4lbs density foam in the bow, and other cosmetic junk. I had a lehner 1940 laying around, so why not throw it into use on this one... Although it's "slightly" overdone in the power aspect, this has been one of the most fun projects to date. If it doesn't sink right away, it'll be using 2 dinogy 3s batteries (65c - 4000mah) in series (6s...) with a seaking 180A V3 ESC. Should make for a fun launch.
Here is what it looked like before:
And here is what I have so far
