After 2 years of service, it was time to re-furb the trusty Drifter ; particularly after some near-fatal crashes at WW IV & the Nat's.
Lots of Bondo, glazing putty, fiberglass mat reinforcing, & a ton of silver metalflake & clear. Moved the rudder to the left to lift the outside corner in the turns to prevent the "trip & flip. Oh yeah, the 1515 1Y which pushed the DF 33 to 58.1 mph [gps] is now in the Drifter with a .187 cable & no teflon liner [ the .130 liner came out & the .187 cable fits fine & yeah I keep it well lubed !]. A Brian Buass cut down & cupped 447/3 & mid 60's with more prop to come. P-Offshore, anyone ?
