lonewolf the project looks like its coming along nicely! I wish I would have had more time to build it. Hopefully in a few weeks I will be able to do something new, after I have finished moving. I look forward to seeing this progress. I would be willing to bet that this is the first time this hull has been built for electric. I have been out of town, but I will try to get ahold of herb and see what he has to say about the setup.

This is kinda OT but here is a pic of a nice rudder strut that Lonewolf built

for me. It's a Speed master 21 rudder that he extended the strut by an

inch so it will work better with my Speed master stinger.

Here it is on my chopped SV27, ugly primer though.

I think he could sell allot of these:)

I just got off the phone with Herb, and he suggested that you set the boat up just as if you were building a deltaforce. Placing the motor further back and using the batteries to balance the boat. He also said you may not need trim tabs, but that will come down to testing and setting the but up to your liking.

I am makeing a skegged stinger for her and will have some pics of that later this week. I am working on the stringer and hope to get them cut soon also.

I wont nstall them untill I get the hardware soft mounted to get a correct cg.

Well today I got some real progress done on the stinger. It is a bit beefy but hey its a bigger hull.... It is a mhz look-a -like. It will have a skeg on the bottom which hasnt been cut yet .
I cut my stringers to length today also. Once the hardware is set I will soft mount them to get a decent c/g for mounting the motor....
