    TS-2 hinge pin upgrade

I always had a feeling that the stock motor-to-motor-mount hinge pin would one day disappear. It's retained by an almost invisible "hairpin" clip fitting into a machined groove in the hinge pin. A total to install & remove. Well this morning I was checking the TS-2 before a day at the lake, and the *&%# thing was gone, hinge pin & clip both. Since I recently vacuumed, I knew it was unrecoverable. I had to improvise or wait to order one. Turns out that the pin is 3/16 "; I took a spare 3/16" prop shaft, machined-to-fit a spare drive dog, left some threads on the bottom & red-locktite'd a nut on the bottom to grip when I needed to slide it out, & VIOLA !
