    Fantasm super single build

After much back and forth, can't make up my mind shenanigans....I decided to build a big single. Basically I wanted a giant version of Mt rivercat that would achieve as high or higher speeds. I have a few things for it already. Here's my list:

-41" Fantasm hull, fiberglass canopy (have)
    -Sss 5694 1200kv motor (have)
-Ceramic hybrid high rpm bearings for motor (have)
-fightercat 400amp esc (it's the ugliest esc you'll ever see...more on that later)
    -fightercat motor mount (ordered)
-1/4" flex for 3/16 prop (ordered)
    -cooling jacket (ordered)
    -ubec to 16s (have)
    -8mm x 1/4" collet (ordered)
    -spectrum sr3001 waterproof receiver (have)
    -strut and rudder assy (have)

    Hull

This build will likely be slow. I have a few other things that are more important at the moment I need to get done. I plan on starting off on 8s. Then moving up to reach my goal. This hull will be heavily reinforced. The motor mount will able to be swapped out. If this motor (I just wanted a behemoth of a motor for some reason lol) fails or doesn't cut it, I will be putting a neu 1530 in it or maybe something else. This is to get it going and just mess around with it. Here's the little motor.

I had to check and see if I had enough room for batteries.....yep...I think so.. (two 4s hard packs on each side fit easily)

cute! I took mine apart in hopes someone with a tp motor would do the same thing and post the internal pics. They look quite similar on the outside. Let's see if the inside is the same....

The machined shaft parts look the same.

Here's the rudder and strut I'm running. I could not find an offset one in the size I wanted so I bought a strut I want and a rudder I wanted. Then I machined the bar that connects them. I think it turned out nice. (It's mocked up on my cheetah...gonna run the same thing on it)

I put the ceramic bearings in the motor last night. Fightercat motor mount came in yesterday too. It's going to need some mods to fit. Good thing I have a mill.

That's lookin' pretty slick there Travis, as soon as I get some extra $ at the shop I'm getting one of those Smithy 3in1 machines and then go take some CnC classes.

Thanks! It took a little time to do that manually with no measuring device on the mill. I actually bought the digital two axis read out the other day just haven't put it on. Too much stuff and not enough hours. Lol

So with a 1800kv you are thinking 6-7s Travis?
