    My new Aeromarine build.

After seeing Diegoboys new MiniXXX I had to have one! It's my favorite 1:1 hull. He hooked me up and ran to his LHS and picked this up for me. (he's the Chargers fan. I don't have the hull yet) I don't know what way I'm going with yet , but this will be a play boat. I plan on copying a 1:1 graphics sceme. Now on to the pics.

could we get a shot of transom? Sweet boat. Seems like a nice Deep V for its size. Cant wait to see them running. I personally think they would look sweet with outdrive like the BlackJack. Hoewver I suppose that would takeway fom performance.

FYI: the hull is based on the Outerlimits GTX series.

Ok, I have decided to go brushless. Here is what I have so far.
                  BJ hardware
                  BJ esc.
What would be a good motor and prop to go along with this. Keep in mind, it's just a play boat. I know the BJ motor is an obvious choice. I just want to know if there is something better for around the same money.
The boat will be run on 12-16 cells.

Say NO to the BJ HW.
I'd use the ammo 36-50-2300kV Motor

Can the BJ ECS handle that motor?

I haven't used that combo, but I have used the SV-ESC on that motor. It should be fine since those ESC's are comparable.

I've worked on that boat, it has pretty nice rigging.

the bj esc should be fine with the ammo 2300
I would not waste my time with the bj hardware though.
The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

it you are just going for a semi-scale fun boat

I agree!!, but don't want to spend the coin on a play boat!
