I got your graphics done today I am packing then this afternoon and should be in the mail tomorrow morning. Chris did you get a test run last weekend or decide to wait until after the graphics and clear coat was done?

fflraptor07, that thrust bearing seems like a good idea. What do you do to prevent corrosion of the the bearing?

Cool. Are you running a square slip drive (like the old K&B outboards) at the motor so it can slide and put ALL the thrust on the strut?

No I don't run the square drive and I wouldn't say it puts ALL the load/thrust on the strut but it puts more of the load than a normal setup on the strut

Love the orange! Any more detail on the lexan hatch attachment/sealing? great idea. Beautiful boat.

THANX! There's not much more detail to it, it's just a piece of 1/16 Lexan then I made a form from a 2x4. Then took my handy dandy heat gun and heated the Lexan and pushed it into the form to make the bubble for motor clearance, let it cool. Then cut it to fit the recess in the hatch opening. I tape it down with hatch tape (Hockey tape) when running it, that's about it.

It is looking good and can be better, in the second video while it has a set..... it is smooth. Once the prop winds out the whole boat is lifting from the transom and the whole boat is loose. De-lift the prop a little and drop the strut. I have to run mine that way. Also check to make sure AOA is evan a little off and can cause troubble. Looks like it will be fun once it is dialed in.

Got ya on the prop and strut but what's AOA? and what is causing the left Sponson to flop up and down so much? Maybe turn fin pulling the right down too much?

AOA is Angle Of Attack. If the angle of attack is more on the port side that could cause it to flop. But I almost always have the Starboard side up a little more to counter act the turn fin. Check the rear for the sponsons to see how they are set.

Are you talking about the way you have the ride pads ground on the sponsons?
