    Thanks for responding Mike.
I wasn't suggesting all of your kits, just one or two that are the base for many variations. Like the MHR 7025, for example. One skin set would give customers 39 different models to choose from as their final build.

There are those of us that have no trouble in cutting out the skins, as I said, but a lot of people would prefer to have it all in one box as a complete kit.

I understand the work involved in setting it up. Just thought it might work well, like the Lauterbach.

Great work on the kits for the guys. I'm sure there will be some extraordinary paint jobs applied that will make these boats the pride of their fleets. I know that my GP400 is the favorite hydro in my fleet.

    Cheers.
    Paul.

        Darryl

I run one of those 1440kv motors in my GP400 with a Seaking 180A & a Prather s240 prop on 6s1p. Doesn't get hot. But I have added 3 more caps to the ESC though.

Just a note. I've had two of these motors & both of them had the end bell grub screws screwed so far in, that they were not touching the can. The first one popped the end bell out, 'cos I didn't notice it, & I wasn't running a thrust bearing. The new one, I checked & fixed before I put it in the boat. I've since checked all my TP motors in my other boats but they are all fine.

Have a close look at yours.
        Cheers.

Paul, I had the same issue with all but one of the 4 4070s I have I took the Grub screws out and replaced them with 2.5mm pan head allens, I also sent TP a Email about this and they said they were aware of the problem.

Sure thing Darryl. Here's a couple.

              Flaptor07.
So it seems to be just the new 4070 series motors.

Sponsons on the last were bonded on tonight. I will epoxy the exterior of those two hulls and all 4 hatches tomorrow evening. I do not know when the turn fins will arrive. I may just ship the hulls so you guys can finish and rig your hulls. When the fins arrive I will ship them separately. Mike

                      I couldn't say on that. I don't have a 1530 Neu, & the closest KV would be the 1355.
But I think most people would say a comparable size Neu would be more efficient, & be able to spin a bigger wheel. But the TP is fast enough for me.

All 4 hulls finished. Just need to trim the cowlings. I will be contacting each of you soon. Still no turn fins. Not sure how long that will take. More soon. Mike
