    Cheeta the Cheeeze Build

    Spent my vacation building a Cheeta and got my chance to implement some new things

    Transom got re enforced....

    Made my own bolts ...


    The rudder bracket got the boot seal nub braised on...

      Gave the side plates a bigger foot print and made the motor plate...

        Made a esc holder and servo mount. 4-40 Hanger 9 Titanium turn buckle and HD ball joints for the servo rod....

          Speedmaster hardware and 1/4" skegged strut stepped down to 3/16".

            Lexan battery trays and center piece to strengthen the setup. Gave the perfect mounting area for the electrics and strengthening the stuffing tube area. I hung the water lines . Boats RTR weight with 5s 2p is around 10 lbs Lexan is the

              Aluminum braising rod, JB Weld , fiberglass resin , Quick Steel are the bonding method Boat is in route to the customer and a review comming soon !

              Building a Aeromarine Team Believer soon with some new things getting thrown in on that one Cant wait

                1518 on 5s should be lots of fun, and I have one of those motors just sittin

                        I have a Castle 1515 with a water jacket that has been used once if your interested in trading . I would expect the 1518 to be new of course

                              Randy thanks again for building this boat. On 5s2p I think 60mph is obtainable. I also plan to race this boat in P class, for that I'll run 4s2p 7000mah total. For props I have an m445, x447 and x450/3 to try. I'll have the boat back later this week and start working on the electrical and the hull mod to fill and even out the last ride pad. The bow has been cut back to meet the 34" requirement for P class as well, and I plan to add 8oz of expanding foam for buoyancy and to strengthen the front. Videos will follow
