      18" mono

I am running a 18" mono hull ( Dumas Short Stuff, no longer made) It is a surface drive. 6 cells and a 17T double O5 car motor, Associated A.I. Quantum Runner Plus Reverse waterproof speed control, and a X427 or X430 Octura prop. This combo doesn't spend a lot of time in the water, she just flies.

You could also power it with a Feigao 380L size motor. A 380 10L and 6 NiMH cells will get it moving

ha thanks guys, stuff to think about running

I bought the mini hardware of off ose a couple weeks ago, do u think that sturt will fit the bout well or should i just go ahead anf make my own setup because with the strut mounted to the hull it only sticks out about 2 and 1/2 inchs or so.
Also steve what esc would u run with that 380?

            here are some pics
other questions are with the strings so close to one another , and i also was thinking about redecking the top, to shorten the strings down (meaning almost cuttimg them out for room )and not loose the strenth of the bottom?
The battery fits in the very front of bout. anyway here are some pics sorrry for so many questions new to the bout building been running them for a while new building them.(lots of fun)
            thanks
