    Daytona Twin

Got a bit of work finally done after waiting a few weeks for the stinger drives to arrive, building this boat for a Member here on OSE, We have decided upon a 4s setup that will reach 70mph. Still waiting on the rudder/stinger shims and parts ect. to build the drives.

x2 Leopard 3674 2.5d's on swordfish 220's, and a set of counter x445's, Not sure yet, but may go with a set of Neu motors. I don't know that 4s on a 2650kv will get it to 70mph, Im sure it will as this will be a very light setup.

It may, but i can't be sure because I'm not sure how much a twin adds. To get an idea, (maybe) go watch the video of my mini rivercat on 4s with a 2560kv motor. It was probably in the neighborhood of 50mph. I guess it would add 20 mph but you'll have more weight to pull too tho.

Given your avatar and signature, I would of thought a pair of Lehners were in order...

This is all funded by a member on here, and I don't think he wants to spend 1k spackers on Lehner's lol

Did you get the shims for the drives? Mine wouldn't go.neutral without the shim.

I need to see If Fightercat has a few In-stock, if so Im going to order them today, there not much, and No Sir, as there mounted in the pictures above, there adjusted up to the max and still have a down angle, not sure of the degree. But it will not work, or trim out to run anywhere near whats needed. I never understood why they were not flush built pads. Once the shims are mounted, they need to be sealed, and glued to the hull, I don't trust the screws included with the stinger drives to pull the shims tight enough, to keep them from moving around.

I believe they are angled because it was originally designed as a single powered boat. But it us odd. My shims tightened up just fine on mine. Very tight, precise fit on the shims. Looks like all one when mounted up, except I painted.my shims. Lol
