I'm what electric also once again. boat is the hpr C5008 by me.Setup 2 x tp is 1000kv engine 2 x swordfish 300amp 8 amp Lipo batteries 2 x 12 s.tried something new. I need no brass and teflon more. is oneSpecial cover for the 1/4 inch shaft. also I have a 1/4zoll before the clutch bearings.I have the turbines boot made the best experiences. that runs super quiet and precise.

Very impressive build. I love it. I would be interested to learn more about your flex shaft/stuffing tube arrangement. Is there a bearing at the front of the stuffing tube? Nicest arrangement I have seen on a boat yet!

Its the same material/system Hanspeter is also using on his turbine boats, so am I on my HPR 233 Twin Turbine. It comes directly from the manufacturer of the flex shafts. We are now doing some further tests how the material performs on high rpm setups in electric applications, turbines wont exceed 35.000rpm.
The big advantage is the material is flexible and can therefore make pretty small bows which wouldnt work with a Brass/Teflon-combo. On very small bends we might switch to a similar tube which is a little stiffer, no tests performed yet.

And Hanspeter also has the system for test purpose already in smaller size suitable for 3/16" (and 5mm) flex shaft diameter to be used in the HPR115 class.

After final tests the parts will then be available for sale either as kit (shaft material, support with bearing & motor mounts) to go with your order or pre-installed in a HPR hull of your choice!
