    Charger 29 Jet drive

I am building a BBY 29 Charger mono with a jet drive from Mickie Beez from down under. It is the old school one with a flat pad on the bottom. Mick says not to run over 28000 RPM so I am going to use a old Hacker 10XL on 4S saddle packed with a Swordfish 120. I had to pre test fitted the jet drive it took about 2 hours to figure it out, I hate new stuff during that time.
The start is to cut and fit the jet drive to the hull and glue in.

I am going to let the Epoxy harden and build the servo mount and the motor mount.

Hey Randy, I think ya need a heavier clamp there! Nice work, I like that hull looks like it was made for a jet drive..

I have three or four bottoms/hulls like this, it was how we how we went fast in the Nicd/brushed days. The clamp? I have all sizes some of them 10 feet long.

I am looking forward to seeing this build and how the jet drive behaves in the hull. I have wanted one of the jet drives but have been unsure about what hull to use for best performance.
