I think you are more than solid on the shaft supports. Counter rotating may offer a balancing effect but there is still a massive amount of torque there pushing in on and away from the center through each rotation. I just think it's a safe bet squeezing in one of the motor mounts cut down in height to just pick up the bolt holes and reach the floor

Started on making an aluminum cradle to hold the two Esc“s and hopefully hide the bulk of the wiring and water cooling pipes. The cradle is hopefully easily removable as it will be secured by the two brackets running across the top of the motor mounts. The idea is that it can then be taken out in one piece for any maintenance etc. Not a lot more can be done until I receive the second Esc which is on order.

Looking great. I love the originality. The switches look real nice flush mounted across the back. One each for the esc's and the third for the bec? Great idea for the servo, sits in there just right! Should fly quite nicely when all done. Coming together nicely what props have you decided to start with? Don't forget to put a little anti seize on the coupling threads, dissimilar material types can cause issue plus it's just a good idea:) looks like it was something to plan and fit! Good idea on the wire channels, it will keep things looking real need. Should be really clean looking finished up.Comment
