I love all the fancy shiny stuff inside that hull and can't wait to see it go. What did you use for the oilers set into the top deck? Nice clean job. Looks the business and then some!

Hey Doc, if I may ask, where'd you get the oil filler ports on the top of the deck from? They look like miniature gas filler neck's/caps/doors! Very cool!Comment

Hi
The fuel fillers with magnetic flip lids are listed here
His struts and rudder assembly are what adorn the back of this hull..
"Frank" is a nice person to deal with..
Rudder extension( not pictured yet ! ), ESC, motor, jacket and engine mount are all OSE !!
I'll place a parts and supplier list towards the end of this build

Update:
it has had just one day's run and play.
Outwards rotation props with just 7/16" separation seems to cause water pickup issues for the rudder centered and 1/2" behind O|O
40% throttle on the data log, all amps were nominal..looking at prop wash collectors for cooling ....
Here is a brief show and tell clip

The weight distribution was all wrong for this power ..needed more weight over props and more linear stability ( weight spread front→rear.. not just masses either end.
Asked a (new) friend to make up an engine&gearbox mount.
Holy Heck .. he has excelled !!
This means a busy schedule refitting this to the hull over these next few chilly weeks ( mid winter in Australia)
stay tuned for yet another maiden from this user !

Very long wait to get Very long flexes.
I doubt the wait had anything to do with flex manufacturing time ..
.. Package prepped to leave aeromarine 3 weeks before they made it to their post office .
Doze alert in dispatch ....................
finally here .. and now it's too feaking cold outside to do epoxy work
stay tuned folks !

here's a free tip to the unwary ( like I was )
Aeromarine's Ply reinforced Fg transoms can be ripped apart by the torque of counter rotating big props, whose struts are bolted to them.
Hull just needs rudder assembly mounted and it's out to the drowning pond.
Hooked all electrics up, inverted hull and fired her up.
At close to wide open throttle the struts started to shimmer ... assume vibration from flexes or props or some such.
Swear I saw strut movement .. yes, saw it again... grabbed verniers and measure gap between strut stub carriers ...
Close to wide open throttle again.. and that measurement changed by almost 60 thou !
OMG.. the transom is flexing :horror:
Out to shed again to make a 50x50x4mm alu angle plate to bolt inside transom to stop this movement.
two moves forward, one move back .. but it is getting closer !
Providing a rudder part lands soon, you'll see this on youtube before end SeptWayne Schutte PhdCSE BaSE BaEE. Australian, & damn proud of itYOUTUBE
