    Making progress............
Cut the plate for the motor mount and made some slots so the epoxy could pool around the feet of the mount. Before I bonded to motor mount, I cut the hole in the floor so I could make sure the flex was aligned with the strut.

I used g/flex tinted black bond the motor mount. Later I'll seal the wood with black tinted epoxy like I did the battery tray.

        Thanks.

I managed to get the stuffing tube bent and mounted. I used a piece of 1/4" flex cable inside the 9/16" tube as I bent it to make sure the brass tube held it's shape. There was enough movement in the flex tube that it was fairly easy to get it perfectly aligned. I actually used a short length of heat shrink to ensure the flex was perfectly centered in the stuffing tube. I then used G/flex tinted black to secure the stuffing tube into the hull.

This was my first time performing this drastic of a surgery on a boat. I'm really happy how it turned out.

I'll post some inside shots once I have the wood sealed with black tinted epoxy.

I added a pad to velcro the ESC and receiver to. Here's what the interior looks like after the first light coat of epoxy sealer for the wood.

After the second light coat dries, it's just a matter of soldering up the motor and ESC and connecting the rudder linkage. I just might get this build done before I head off on vacation for the next two weeks. Now if only the weather would cooperate and melt the ice off the lake.

Just got it all buttoned up. Just in time to go on a 17 day vacation. Will still be over a month before I can run this and the IB34 mono I built this winter.

To keep the water lines neater, I ran them a little different. The routing is: inlet----esc----motor----esc----outlet

            What to build next.......hmmmmm.
