    ML Boatworks for Q sport

My PT sport 40 I 've been running in Q sport has 4 seasons on it's getting tired so it's time to retire it. So I decided to try the ML Boatworks GP400 this will be my first wood build so any input would be appreciated.

Don't put it near the fire place, especially when epoxy is curing. :)

I plan on using a 1527 1.5D & hydra HV 200 esc out of my old Q sport and all the hardware to. The 1527 was a very fast setup in my old hull

Apparently nobody got my fire place joke.

Tony - A lot of good info from various people in my LSH thread to reference.....CA, Epoxy, Bending, etc....

                    Nice,

Glad to see your still playing with boats. Those Harbor Freight $.99 scissors work good. Use'em until they are dull and open up a new package.

Tony I just put mine in the water 2 weeks ago you will be more than happy, boat had a great attitude and ran great for it first run, couldn't be happier. First run with 6S 2 P X 455 4 laps under 100* 2nd run 3 laps same batteries X457 more speed same attitude. Again low heat, Working with on props for more speed but should be over 60 easy. Mike designed a great boat you will have no issue with handling or speed. Jerry

Are you running the Neu 1527 1.5d also?

High End Technology, a Neu clone with far higher efficiency than Leopard or TP motors. They are popular in EDF planes. One club member runs that motor in his ML Q boat.
