Got a 33 inch titan mono. can anyone give me the proper motor placement in inches from the back of the boat. And where should the center of gravity be in inches from the back of the boat

What power system? What is the expected speed? Smooth water or rough? Stinger or strut with wet well?

My Titan 40 runs in the low 50s on 4S, the CG is 10.5 inches ahead of the transom. Some put the motor up front and the packs behind, others put the motor near the transom with the packs ahead. Both work as long as the CG is right, before you mount the motor place it in the hull with the packs, ESC etc and see where the CG is.

Where in Texas are you? There are a lot of fast Titans in Texas, it is the most popular FE mono hull for P Mono.

alrighty then,, titan 33 - leopard 4082 , lipo=5s 4500 45-90c discharge with an octura 47mm or 52mm, 3/16 shaft and strut, 120-240 esc. i never ran a mono before, so i dont know the center of gravity. i live in waxahachie, tx. carrolton, tx has a boat club called dallas thunderboats. they have events on occasion. i ran this setup in a 29 inch sprintcat but with 2 x 5s 4500's and the boat was balistic. would not handle rough water. i have 3 lakes within 10 minuets of my house. 1 protected by north wind, and 2 protected by south wind for glass like water. actually with all the electronics, should the hull be a little front heavy to prevent blowovers ?
