    Kep's T2 P limited build

Hi guys. I got started on this about a week ago and decided to post my progress on the build. As the title says it will be a P limited hydro entry for this years race season. As the boat comes together I'll be sure to post some more updated pics. Here's a few of the tub and sponsons going together. Thanks for looking!

      Hey Jeff,

I had all the parts laser cut except the sponson cores. Its not that difficult of a build. The sponsons can geta little tricky since they are elliptical in shape. Im gonna spend some time truing up the ride surfaces tomorrow. After that its just a matter of setting the hull up at the proper ride height witht he sponsons attached to the booms and make sure they are sitting flat to the surface.

Very Interesting! I've been looking at the progress of these over the last few years, http://ne-stuff.blogspot.ca/ This is the designers website for anybody interested.
Every time I've been close to building one something has come up, I currently have too many unfinished projects. No new boats for me this winter, have some that haven't been finished going on two years!
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Parts starting to finally show up. Cut the boom tubes and put everything on a machined setup table at work. The sponson ride surfaces were true to the tables surface right off the bat! No shimming necessary! Im very pleased about that. That will save me some time on this build. The rear ski was off a little by .008"but Im not even gonna worry about that. Next step is to make sure the sponsons are parallel with each other in relation to the tub. Then I'll finish sanding and seal with epoxy then fit the hardware.
