    ** hpr 233 / radtekpowerboats 92 " cat build **

    Hey Everyone,

Well finally finished this big girl
Here's like a before n after build thread

    HPR 233 / RADTEKPOWERBOATS 92"
    Neu 2230 1y's
    Schulze 40.334wk's
Billet hardware from Radtek powerboats ( had some parts annodised black for the look i wanted )
    Revolectrix 4x 8800mah 6s packs.
    Grypon regulator
    High volt Savox servos.
    Andy Brown Props
    Customcfparts Battery trays with sliders.
    Customcfparts ESC lids
    Customcfparts Radiobox
    Customcfparts Cintron Decal set
Bit of carbon work done by myself, Bulk heads, far front, front, rear, esc box's, engine mounts.
Metallic paint by " Made you Customs " thanks dave..
    Think thats about it?
    And ALOT of time haha

Firstly i would like to put out a HUGE thank you to RADTEKPOWERBOATS !!!!!!Radek himself has been there for all my questions from the start to finish and believe me, his email account would be clogged.
From asking questions before i purchased the hull, to negotiating freight, hardware , advice on build, his own experiances with this hull etc etc.
I can not thank him enough for being there wellllllllllllllll after the sale. The boat was flawless in build quality, and is great to see such a beautiful big hull originally made by HPR continued by someone that can keep the standards just as high.. so thanks again Radek http://www.radtekpowerboats.com/

Secondly a BIG shout out to Kent @ http://www.customcfparts.com/I was pretty far into my build when i stumbled accross one of the threads on here showcasing Kents work.
I wish i had found him sooner as cutting out all my carbon engine mounts and esc boxes with a dremmel was painfully slow and dirty!
I immediately had to have this carbon Jewellery as i call it haha
He is a champion guy to deal with and we went to work on some carbon parts for this big girl.
ESC BOX LIDS, RADIO BOX, BATTERY TRAYS.
He also put together my Decals for the CINTRON theme i was going with.
Kent has an eye for detail and a huge imagination of great ideas even if your short of them yourself.
If you want a mean looking boat, make sure you get in contact with him

Lastly to all the others out there that shared there very helpful knowledge/Opinions with me.
    ManuelW
    Mudl
    Racemechanix
    Grail
    Achim K
    Fluid
    Punisher 67

I cant thank you enough. Every little detail counts when building a huge boat like this that there isnt much info on.

So without rambling on even more
    Heres some pics

Got a few funny looks from people when taking this home from the freight place. Coffin anyone?

Radek sent the coolers polished which was a nice little extra!
These Schulze 40.334 wk are huge! Big esc for a big boat :)
Took the boat around to a mates that loves gas boats, we was trying to convince me to put in 2 S-520 each side haha, so we just through a few motors in for size comparison.

          Off to Paint!
These guys painted my last cat so knew it was in safe hands!
Number 1 rule 'No mess indise hull'
Killed me to spray over carbon down centre of boat, but it had to be scale in my eyes so it had to go.
          shame, but whata ya do..

            Back from Paint.
Let her sit for a week on the shelf.
Then Started to apply Customcfparts Decals.
Was actually easier than i thought. amazing what a bit of soapy water and a sqeegy will do

Checking balance point which is apparently in the middle of the second step, loaded up batts and all she ended balancing perfect.
Servo box layout not 100% complete tidy wise, ill have to work on that slowly.

                    Had first run
Was pretty scary considering howmuch Time n Money goes into these things.
But all went very well and apart from me driving with a bit to much partial throttle while checking water both side coming out, it went fast!!
                    Uploading video as i type..

Ok so having trouble uploading to Youtube grrrrr!
So for now uploaded to VIMEO.

Please excuse the Partial throttle lol.
Give her a little more towards the end, but for now didnt really let her rev out.
Think i held full throttle for about 2 seconds maybe?
                        Baby steps

awesome boat and amazing building. now you need to convince about 5 of your friends to build them for full out offshore style races. would get pretty rough out there lol
