Starting the Thriftway build by building a jig to keep everything straight and true. Using a frame kit from ML Boatworks. Will post pics as I progress.
Let me know when you get close... I may have a power system you might want to try in that... :) Might be a good "proof of concept" hull for my power system idea with PSFEMBC... :)

Ok Darin I will keep that in mind though this one may take me a while as I want to deck it in mahogany. But i may just deck it in balsa and glass it and then foux paint in the grain. But I have been eanting to do a real mahogany boat for a long time

Got the building Jig done today and I had to wet the frames as I left them out of the box and they warped on me. Going to let them dry out for a while with weight on it to keep them flat. Also ordered the rest of the wood I need for the build and some CA to tack it together.

Something tells me this is going to be a really nice boat built by a true craftsman!!!
And yes that is a good choice for a powerplant, the only problem I see is packing enough amps or (C) in batts and ESC in there, there ain't much room to play with

It worked fine in this boat as i am only using a single 2s pack and this boat has a taller crown to the deck than the bardabl did
Thanks for the compliment

Say, let me dig around and see if I have a 10.5T ROAR style brushless motor here. Maybe we can use your boat as a "test bed" for our 2S class idea with the PSFEMBC, since you have it about ready to go...
