The baby sv has a far better finish than the big one,but thats because it was not intended to be in mass produktion .
But a paint job and she looks stunning.
By the way i had my first run.
With The x470 props i had 94 kmh on the gps so 19500 logged with my sw300a controllers is defenetly enough to get her on speed.
Piek amps of 140 amp and on full speed only ca 70 amps so plenty of running time ca 8 to 10 min and stil 19 % remaining capacety
Curve handeling needs some work, and some adjusting/learning from my side (because i usualy run race
But sofar i am very happy.

RS, great looking boat and a real fine job done. A small detail but ii love the flex tube braces.
Any chance of getting a photo com motors to transom. I am planning a build and its it details
Like that that really set off the other fine work. What type of carbon/core material Layup up are you
Using for.the mounts. I have seen a couple different versions of it but I have never found
it for sale. Are you using an shakable core material and laminating yourself?
Sorry for all the questions but when I see something I like I have to ask question's!
Are you happy with the TP motors performance? And finally, how do you like the long
Extension rudder for the application. It looks great just wondering how it is in the turns etc.
sorry.for.all the.question's again. There seem to be.few big mono builds and the closer I get
To.starting mine the more questions I have! Awesome boat! By the way you showed excellent
restraint having your build decisions questioned every step of the way. It goes to show that
Experience speaks as loud or louder then someone with a calculator crunching numbers and
commenting with little or no hands on experience. Good job.

My motor mounts are are home made as most other parts
I laminate 2 layers of glas to both sides of the multi layer plywood , you can use carbon but i mostly use plane glas and epoxy with black pigment mix in it. I call it carbon look.
Its relative light and stif but much cheaper than carbon plate.
My flex is mounted as flat/streight as possible to minimize friction to the teflon liner.
The bras tube holder is made from 8 mm epoxy plate .
For the long rudder, i will test this set up first and than compare it to a smaler rudder extentioner .
Wich will locate the rudder in front of the props, i have some good experience with that kind of setup before.
          So we will see .
Experience wise i have been building al kin of boats for more than 15 years gas, electric, big and small, single ,twins .
Racing gas boats you learn alot.
Last year i sold my last gas boat, continuing only with the bigger brushless boats with 2x10s5000 setups

          Buster mono 3060-10 lehner
          Hpr135 scorpion 4035-800
          Mystic 138 scorpion 4035-800
          Rpb skater scorpion 4035-800
Sv43 xl and the baby still to build
I am not into the extreme setups but reliable and fast enough

I also laminate compettive racing hulls ,the Buster mono 115 cm (brushless and gas )
And will start next summer wit a new 1 m hull project.
The lipo holders are laminated with carbon and glas with sandwich on the bottem so they are stiff strong and are big enough hold 8 x8000 mah lipo's .
For now my running time is 10 min with the 10 ah per motor so i am pleasedwith that.

I am planning on doing a long extension on my next build. Love the. Look! And I hope it works
the epoxy glass with pigment looks just like the real thing. I have ordered some twill weave 9oz
Glass cloth with pigment. Part of reinforcing the top deck, a layer of s glass then Kevlar forthe toughness
leaving the entire top deck and hatch cf free to help with rx signal and GPS. Hull will be a combo
layup as welll. Hull is very thin. This boat I want to make special but after seeing your results
I way use a similar technique in my next build. You had me fooled. I thought it was the lighting that
Wasnt. So good to clearly see the carbon. I can see using the sandwich plate technique and leaving the ply 1/16" smaller to accent with coloured epoxy. It may just work in my current build. Excellent
            Job!

Hey Alfa, where did you find the push pull mount for the speed master rudder?
I am also interested in the T mounting bracket as well, you stated they were hard to
find and then forgot to enlighten us as to where you got them. I have seen the t bracket somewhere
Before but I can't remember. You've got the sources so can you help a fella out?

Rs, hows the tuning on the sv going. Is the long rudder going to be a winner or is shortening needed? Any changes made? I assume you are happy with the speed and amp draw as they seem good to me, perhaps you find things could improve. I am all ears!
I am running a single so I decided to try twin rudders with the 6" extension. My stinger will bring the prop out to 5". With the variety of monos you have built and modified I was hoping you could share your thoughts. Any ideas on how far they should be spaced apart for a chance at good handling? Do I need to rethink things altogether? Thanks, boat still looks great!

                Hello Fella,

For a center bracket you can make a deal with Modellbopirat to buy only the T bracket, that is what I did.

An other option is Arrow Shark

I ran her 1,5 week ago.
On a bigger lake , trimmed the drives a bit more down to get it more stabble.
Testing 1x10s 5000 mah each motor 15 kg ready to run gives 4,5 min running time and 93,8 kmh with the x470
Running 2x10 s each motor 18 kg readyto run gives 9 plus min running time and 94,3 kmh propshop 6514/3

So i am pleased so far, trim tabs and diffent turnfins wil be testet in the future but the weather is not getting better over here temperature is around 6 degree celcius . So i won' t be running my boats that much for thr comming time.
It won't be long before we can expect some ice over here.

Thanks Alfa, that is enough contact info I would feel foolish if I couldn't find them!
Rs, keep us posted on how things are working out please! Seems to be running great.
I can't watch the video on this device so I will try something else later.

As it has nothing to do with my sv43 !
