I hope so lol, didnt even think about that till u mentioned it. The insulation on 8guage is pretty thick and the ESC's are secured really well so the wires shouldn't move much.

You're right, but for me, I just don't like seeing wire pass through a bare hole.

2p per motor? have you considered 1p? I run my boat with tp 5850 920kv motors on 12s1p packs stay nice and cool.

the TP motors are real powerhouses you're going to like them. how are you going to secure lipos in place?

Just curious why you say "go with a 3 blade"? Have you had good results with them on this hull? What is considered a small diameter? What RPMs and speeds are you experiencing?

X457 should be great. I ran an x465 with this hull was a really fast boat. The super daytona is great those tp motors will put a hurtin on electronics. 10s2p will be very heavy in an already hot setup. 10s1p 5000mah packs would be ideal. These big 100 mph cats use a lot on energy and get hot fast just my 2 cents as I run a similar setup.

I just didn't think 5000 would be enough MAH

so do you run 2-5s in series on each side? or do you have 10s packs? And what brand do you run?

i just run 2 6s packs in series. a few companies out there sell these monster 10s-12s packs problems arise when charging and it becomes a nightmare if you have to replace a cell. batteries and battery quality is far more important than i wanted to admit when i first got into FE, if you were running very low kv motors you'd be able to use cheap packs.

i use zippy 6s packs and they're not what my setup wants. the more expensive packs discharge more smoothly and don't get nearly as hot so swelling stays down and they last longer. you can spend anywhere from $200 to $800 for a set of packs that run this boat for 5 minutes here are my rec with the best most expensive first

                                1. http://dinogylipos.com/index.php/pro...-5s-65c-detail
pick up 4 of these you'll never have a problem

                                2. http://www.hobbypartz.com/98p-60c-5000-5s1p-5555.html
                                those are a decent alternative

                                3. http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store..._5S1P_40C.html
zippy packs are the cheapest obviously, i have never had a problem with one of their packs as long as i didn't discharge below 3.75v per cell.

are you using a lipo sled system?
