New to electric boating need help

I have a Bonzi 54 fountain with a zenoah 26cc, I would like to strip the gas out and run electric. I am not new to e power ,
but my experience is airplanes. I have several that are 50cc equivalent, running 12S-5000's.

That being said I have a CC hydra240 HV. The boat currently runs 40-45 mph (guessing). I would be happy with an E setup that would run the same, as I do not race , this is only a pleasure boat.

Can I use the same out drive? Prop?
Out drive is 1/4" prop is 2.76 X 4.3" pitch.

I really would appreciate the input, please keep in mine this is not a competition or speed freak boat.

If you want email [email protected] or post here

    Thank you Jeff

Jeff I would suggest a 56(Leopard,Neu, or Topower) motor with low kv with your esc....I don't think your 70mm prop can be used in FE safely but your out drive would work! Gill

Would this work to achieve 45 - 50 mph sport boat set up in a bonzi 54 fountain?

      Leopard 5692 motors 730kv

      If so what prop?

      I have many 6S-5000's

      and CC HV 240

      so I can run 6S or 12S

      Thank you Jeff

If your boat is not too heavy a 5692 or 56110 motor in this range kv will work good in the same speed or higher.I'm not familiar with mono hulls but a prop between 50-52mm will be a good start point.Yes you can run from 6 to 12S but I recommend to use a capbank with your CC 240 to avoid issues above 8S.Gill
