Painting an ep1

I want to paint this white like an evinrude e-tec. I've decreased the unit thus far. Now what? Should I sand it or just put primer on it? Should I get the evinrude spray paint or rust oleum white and then an enamel gloss coat? Should I bring it to an automotive autonomy shop and see if they'd paint it? Help
