Installing carbon/kevlar sheets in a Delta force 26

Hi

Need some advice on how & what is the best way to iunstall carbon/Kevlar sheet into my delta force 26 inside the hull?

-What product do I need to install the sheet lining inside?
- how to do it if there is any processes

any help will be greatly appreciated

Andrew,

You can use carbon or Kevlar to line the inside for additional strength. Kevlar is a bit more difficult to saturate compared to carbon or fiberglass. I would recommend a single layer of 4 to 8 oz carbon. It is important to scuff the inside of the hull with sandpaper and clean with acetone and a tack cloth. Precut the carbon so it wraps up the insides almost to the deck opening. I would extend it fore aft from the transom to several inches in front of the opening.

how you stick the carbon to the hull? resin glue ab glue etc

epoxy resin. I use West Marine or MAS Flag epoxy.

z poxy also works if you cant access west systems stuff, It works fine too....and +1 to what racemechanix said
