    HPR C 5009 115cm "electric cafeine"

    hi there....
my name is stelios sakantaris, and my location is in greece.
i post first time here in 0SE ,and please forgive my english,as, it is not my mother languange..(i will do my best)..!
im owner of a hpr c5009 from 4/2011 (the very first ones) and now is the second time, that i rebuild it,as the centre of cravity it whas far in front.
for first i will show you a system that i build for the motors,as, it whas dificult to go the motors in, a, sooo back position, and take them in and out
as i have destroy two front end bells(from the screws) of motors, and i put 2 pieces, new now,i get the idea of a fast clamp, together with a rear clamp, for safety, against motor rebolting(the one with the normal prop) as a friend get his motor rebolted from the front end bell, after a nylon bag!!! in the water.....
my set up is two lehner 2240/8 (1850kv) and two hydra 240 H.V also playing with 6s and 7s......
with 6s and prop shop is nice......(prop shop 50/18/2)
but in 7s ..........i give some fight to keep it in the water....but this is something, that i will ask yours opinion later,as i "smell" a wrong from the drives (custom made)
so for now lets see the fast in-out of the motors.....and i hope to like it!!! (my normally job is machining )

also some rear bearings problems drive me to put thrust bearings in front,as it is the 'bad scenario' to push the boat form the motors.
so after oxidation,a milling to the motor male part(motor clamp...not the motor) as the lehners have the front bearing extended, and this is a problem....i make also two washers from inox (laser cuted from metal sheet),in order to"push" the front plate with the thrust bearing, and no the front motor bearing...
just for reference my lehners have 8mm shafts..and the front bearing(thrust) is from ezo japan with NO races, and the three parts have 0 clearance with the shaft.
also the motors have a gap to move in back 0,8mm(with spring washers)..i come in contact with the thrust,on 0,5 mm ,so as i leave space to the rotor to move, under temperatures,i push the front motor plate, before i push the rear bearing......
i must say, here, that always the rear bearings have the problems, and never the front.....so my mind goes here to solve the problem.

here is how it is today.....with new motor bearings, and with thrust bearings (ezo f8)installed for first time.also the very good here is that i can put the motors, with the collets installed, something that i like a lot.

some more photos of the drives.....148mm long, and square bottom.
something that manuel wenny says to me,is that maby the drives make lift to the back of the boat......is a hard work to change the drives,so if somebody have a look to the videos, will understant tha the boat running stable and cool to 6s and when we plug to 7s....the lift on the back, dont left me to push the throtle.....
so as i feel it now the c5009 hulls needs the drives down,or in parallel to the last step,so is a diference between 06 and c5009?? 5009 needs only mirror water???
or somebody that may have test to the longer drives.....again is the back lift phenomenon.
just for the story,we have test a lot of angle in drives, and c g ,but the lift is there......
                        here some picks....
