Perhaps it would be wise to start smaller, submerged props won't unload like surface piercing, a lower pitch and diameter? After all more load = more current draw and heat and it wouldn't be worth risking the dreaded smoke! Same as any other start small, test, check temps and work up till you get the performance needed. Because its submerged and more of a scale cruiser then a speed boat I would start with a 440 and if everything is running cool (~100f) then you can start thinking about going up in size. Never had a submerged prop so that's just a guess but better to error on the safe side rather then the smoke side.
That should get you to mid 30's. pretty big motor so I'm thinking it wouldn't break a sweat.
