      I have been testing and testing and I seem to have the best overall performance when the strut is 3/16 of an inch above the bottom of the boat. I played around with it today for about 2 hours. When I have the strut all the way up positive she would just cavitate horribly. I slowly worked my way down till the boat started to keep the speed in the turns. She still cavitates a little bit from a dead start but I am happy with the way she is running. This boat really likes rough water which is a good thing for where I live since it is always extremely windy.
