Fightercat Daytona Carbon Hyperion 1900k KV Outrunners

    Got this boat from Mark and I am trying to see if we can finally get some water under it! The hull was prepped with carbon inlay and setup by Keith. It was left loose for paint. I have torn it all the way down and built it back up to where I am close to trials. All wiring complete, stingers and rudder sealed and setup. Need to mount batteries and electronic and program/setup. Maybe this weekend. Setup is;

FC Daytona hull with CF inlay by KBB
Custom CF motor mounts by KBB
Custom CF stuffing tube supports by KBB
    Custom servo mount by KBB
    Custom esc cover by KBB
    KBB hatch bolt kit installed
    2x Hyperion 3026 1900 kv outrunners
    2x 110mm 3/16 stinger drives
    2x Aeromarine flex cables,L&R
    2x Aeromarine 3/16 collets
    2 CR x442 aluminum props
    Fightercat 240 Twin esc
    Kintec center mounted rudder 110mm
Traxxas radio from that useless peice of *!***!***!***!** Spartan boat.
    Running 4s1px2 4000 50c lipo to start.

nice clean looking boat. I look forward to seeing what you can get out of it. I think a guy on youtube pulled 93mph with this boat.

No video yet. Motor temps are 120* Super snappy on the bottom end! Motor sound like turbines slow and animals wide pinned! Look forward to running this boat with all sorts of setups. Seems touchy, but super stable. Still have some controller tuning to do though. Thanks Mark!

Only trials with stupid Traxxas radio, on 4s with a throttle setup that ended up being questionable. I think a bec here is a losing idea..... time to rewire about to through it in the lake... lol

Have you considered Futaba radios? I run a Futaba 3pm-x system and the signal is ridiculously strong. I run my boats within 300ft of a police station most 2.4ghz radios constantly lose signal here. With the futaba I have sent the boat far enough I could barely hear it anymore lol.

Definitely going to step up to a new radio. One piece cables also.
