    M1 supercat?

    she has arrived.
got some top secret hardware for it, and i am just mocking it all up right now
the hardware is a pint for a boat of this size! i am lucky i got it on straight. patience is all it takes
i have some custom carbon fiber motor mounts i am making shortly for it. the wooden one you see in there now is going to be cut out of 1/8th inch carbon fiber plate. as well as a servo mount. i have a good amount of carbon fiber/Kevlar to use to stiffen up the hull and give a better area to mount too.

setup is a 1515 1Y on 4s2p with a hacker 77. also it will be getting a 1527 1D on a hydra 240 for some extra if if the small Neu Isnt enough.
running wire drive in this little sucker. less resistance as possible.

Nice Taylor. I owned one cat in my 15 years of RC boating and if I ever bought another that would be the one.

        epoxy for stuffing tube.
use a piece of silicon tube to "fence" off the area where i fill with epoxy.

I like TSB HW alot Taylor. He is starting to make more 3/16th stuff now also. Layout looks nice dude. Is the cf mount going to look exactly like the wood mockup?

that's the plan. i need to get some more CF. i might do it in aluminum... not to sure yet...
i made my servo mount just now its out of alu. so i might keep a aluminum theme going in it.
TSB is good. but a little on the lose side and some things are not tight fit how ever.
this hardware was a ebay special.i bought 4 sets of this stuff i got each piece rudder and strut for 5.99 cents... biding to the last min. i got 4 sets for 48 bucks plus the 9 dollars shipping.

okay, i went with a aluminum servo mount.( sorry for the two colors of bolts)
and just a L style motor mount for mock up ( have to see how the wire drive will line up if i have to make further changes. as well as this 7XL feigao motor for a toss in for placement as well. I am still waiting on my motor. i thought the package was at the post office but it was something else rather then my motor.

You are going to like that hull. I have the M1 34" length version and your proposed power setups will make it a rocket. The wing looks cool until you flip at high speed. That has not happened to me ....YET.....reinforce the mounting area or mount with double sided tape so that the wing will pull off under impact.

                        thanks Doug.
I have the 34 inch version as well... or should i say HAD. i ran a 2250 in it about 4 years ago. it was a rocket that's for sure until it completely obliterated the hull and basically everything inside of it. :)
