    SW36 sport boat project

It seems lately ever time I have an opportunity to go to the lake there is 30+ winds lol. Answer go bigger!!

Picked this hull up from SJ, what were planning to do is power it with two 800's that are direct coupled. The way I did this was by removing one armature and having a .130 hole bored 1" deep into the motor shaft at the local machine shop. This is my first attempt at this so who knows. Everything is pivoting on if the high temp sleeve retention loctite can hold. So things will be pretty basic to start with. After placing the motors in the boat with batts there is no way to get close to 30% cog, so the back tray support area with the tube needs to come out. Keep in mind this is just a fun play boat that I am HOPING can run with her nitro sisters! at this elevation they run around 34-37mph.

James that's a great idea. What esc @ how many volts are you going to put through those big 800s? I bet he can swing a bigole prop with those monsters Doby.

This will be the general layout to achieve 30% cog, planning on 4s2p not sure on prop at this juncture. Man this hull is one BOW HEAVY mother!

I had wondered that myself, but this is something thats beyond anything I have done, so I am just waiting to see how it plays out!

if you need a SW flex cable, i've got a stock one right here that SJFE sent me, i can pass it along to you if you would like it. .187 i believe.
this SW cable may actually have been the original one that was in the boat your working on.

Dont know the size really, but i know its bigger then my .150s
