Bought the hull awhile back and now getting things together and starting the build. First thing I did was a small pour of Z poxy in the transom to get it level on the inside and then covered it with some carbon/kevlar.

Bud,
Take a minute and check my posts on Keith Bradley's forum regarding cracks in my Cheetah. If I was to build another, I would deffinetly put an additional layer of carbon cloth or carbon / Kevlar down before you go any further. If you intend to run in the 50mph and above, the Cheetah won't last without it.

I have seen your write up on the crack and plan on putting some more cloth in it. Thanks for the heads up.Modified Jae21, Stock Jae21, Cheetah, Ul-1, Shock Wave 26 V2 (Rescue Boat).Comment

Got the motor/ esc mount made. Put everything in the hull to find the cg. Now knowing where the motor will set I bit the bullet and drilled hole for the stuffing tube.

With the stuffing tube in it was time to glue down the motor mount battery and receiver tray. I used J.B. Weld to hold everything down. I then made some holder for the cooling lines out of carbon fiber to keep everything kinda neat and in place.

I also Stole one of properchopper ideas for the rudder linkage pass thru. I used a piece of 3/8 stainless tube I had laying around, must say works pretty good.

Also got my flex cut and soldered up. Getting good at soldering the flex with my new iron.

I have zippy 6s 5000mah packs. They won't fit without hull modifications if running twins. If running a big single then ya they'll fit you just have to slide them in through the back, the "mti cat," inspired hull area.Comment
