MHZ C5000 73in CT deck, Let the project begin.

2012-10-24 20.10.01.jpgGetting after this project, MHZ C5000 73in, CT deck, Lenher 3080, Schulze S/C, MHZ scale drive's and rudder. Got the motor mounts, drive's and rudder fitted. The shaft tubes, support bearings and oiler's all fabed. Working on instaling the massive speed controllers and getting my battery tray design layed out. I did buy a cnc router to assist me in the cutting of my carbon parts. I think the hardest part of this build is going to figure out what paint scheme!2012-12-12 18.31.06.jpg2012-12-12 18.31.20.jpg2012-12-12 18.31.42.jpg2012-12-12 18.32.06.jpg

That is a very nice hull. I will keep this build in my sights. I plan on building a 73'' cat someday soon. I live state side so I think it will be made by central rc. The cost is more to my wallets size as well.
twissted from speed. Lead, fallow or get out of the way. Copy cats in back of the buss!!!

Joel, I needed some thing that would move around me, not me moving around the baot kept misplacing my beer, let alone fliping the hull around every 1/2 hour. lol

Twisted, Rick from central hobbys builds an awesome hull. I was getting ready to pull the trigger and get one of his boats when I worked out a deal on this boat. I will be getting a central rc hull from him soon, first class guy, and great quality. You will not be disapointed.

That's a way better idea then the jig I made to hold my beer while working on the boat

Wow. I'm definitely subscribed. How or who does the canopy and motor cutouts on this hull? I love them.

Kingwrench where you from in MO? My wife's family is from Marshall.

This is gonna be a nice build with LMT's and Schulze esc's. Now thats come coin for them 3080's, I was looking at them for my mono build. But once I seen that price tag, I decided to wait till I know way more about this rc boating stuff. I would hate to burn up one of them.

Chris Tonn, makes the scale Kit that really sets these boats apart from the rest.

                      Beautiful boat!
love the mhz mystic.. especially with the Chris t deck.

Must admit, looks like a small pain in the butt to work on the inside with this set up.
Guess thats the price you pay for looks..
