1st time Builders - Help request post

    Hello,

I am building a boat for the 1st time and I think I can speak for those that are, like me, in need of seasoned help. Often I see on the forum build threads that are filled with information, but more often than not those threads belong to felow boaters that have built more than one boat. I know first time builder's threads may not be as interesting as those of hobbyist with plenty of experience but we, the newcomers to the hobby, require your help and constructive critisism.

I posted this new thread as an invitacion to the experts to see our 1st time builds and for the newbies like me to invite them to take a look at our 1st build threads. Like always looking to learn, improve and help other while posting in this great forum of ours.
    • Newbies: Don't forget to mention your thread's title and invite when answering this post and add a link to you build inviting the experts.
    • Experts: Please take a look at our posts and help.

    Thank you!

          Lone Spartan,

Send Steve at OSE and e-mail [email protected] and he will be more than willing to get the appropriate piano drive for you if he has it in stock.

First compete build. DF pirate 35, lined hull carbon fiber. leopard 4082 2y, speedmaster drive, castle hydra ice 240, going to run 2 max amps 5s 5450 mah 120c in parallel.

Question, anyone have measurements on where to mount the motor? How about a general starting range for batteries?
