    5s lipos and bec

    here is a picture of the power plant for my twin motor cat, can someone please tell me, running 1 5s pack to a motor ,esc each side ,do i need to disable the bec and run a seperate battery,thanks

    Yes, 4s and above should have a seperate receiver pack...

        Just remove the red wire from the speed controller that is going to the receiver. Or you can do it the way I do and buy a short servo extension and remove the red wire from that, plug it into the ESC and then the receiver and you are good to go. Don't forget that once you do that you must use a small 5 cells receiver pack or a external BEC.

              heath m , mate i live in mackay,i'm pissed at the moment theres a crocadile hanging around the pond i run my boats in,the problem is that my recovery boat is a vinyl canoe and i ain't taking the croc on in that . the council has put a big steel trap right in the middle of the pond to catch it. so i have to wait until this happens. thanks again to all that replied to this post
