    Zonda gets a face lift.

    I like my boats green!

The last picture shows the color of the boat. I have sent the boat back to the paint booth as I didn't like the finish. So I don't have the boat for another 24 to 48 hours from now. I will be changing the drive shafts to the single piece unit so that strench and ease of lubing the shafts are faster. I also will be looking at larger props and bigger motors. I'm looking for speeds that will around 80 mph. This is my goal. The speed controls are able to handle 300 amps each and the batts are 6s in series 5000 130c.

Nope, I have yet to run this boat. It is the paint shop and then I plan on running it with a pair of HK 180 esc's and a pair of 4500 4s 35c to so how she runs.

I'm always looking for speed in everything that I play with so I'm gearing up for more power, motors, esc's and batteries. After that I plan on building a boat that is 60" with even more of the same. And after that I'm going into Air Planes and give that a shot.
Currently the only thing I race is a 1/5 scale RedCat Rampage XBE running on a pair of 5000 4s in series into a fighter cat 250 amp esc. I did some up grades on the buggy such as SS bearings and Billet pieces to help with durability. I melts tires! I'm really happy with it.

P.S. To get a idea as to the size of this buggy your looking at 40 series wheels and tires.

          Bigger motors

SSS 4074 4 pole 2200kv motor. Come with aluminum billet water cooling jacket. Motor mount not included.
          Type: 4074
          KV: 2200
          Y/D: 4D
          Max Amp (A): 96
          Max Volt (V): 27
          Max Power (W): 2600
          Max RPM: 60K
          Non Load Current (A): 1.8
          Shaft Diameter (mm): 5
Motor size diameter x length (mm): 40*74
          Gross weight (g): 378

          SSS40.jpg

          Running these on 6s would give me 3.7 X 6s X 2200kv = 48840 rpm with cnc 45mm props I should have a real sceamer!

I bought them from china by a company that knows how to build them. They make the fightercat brand.
I installed the new one piece drive shafts last night(kintecracing). What a pain in the a$$! I had to drill a head of with a dremel bescause the loc-tite wouldn't release!
And when I got it out, I had to use the vicegrips to get it out. And the threds went bad in doing it. So now it has a bigger stud in it and I use a lock nut to tighten it. I think that I may change them all to this way of mounting as it is so much faster to install!
I do like the awsome service and the quality from kintecracing. They are a must if you want your patrs super fast! I ordered it on friday and got them the fallowing monday. I was shocked!

                          Hello
                          Neat looking boat.
Have you been able to test it out yet with the different batteries?

                            It has not seen water

I have yet to put it in water. I have never driven a cat yet. As for the props I just had a set of 45mm cnc aluminum props come in for it.
                            I'm currently building a one-off 1/5 scale 4x4 race truck.
